The Angel Gadiel
Gadiel is called the most holy of angels. His name is said to mean, “God is my wealth.” He is one of several guards for the gate of the south wind. His name has been found inscribed on amulets used to ward off evil. Sorcerers often invoke Gadiel in order to conjure up great power.
When you call upon Gadiel you may see flashes of yellow or green. You may also see your curtains stirring even though the windows are closed. Trust his love to point you towards the truth and the best direction for you to take in your life.
If you are feeling down or victimized by life, Gadiel is the angel to call upon. Before you confront any negative situation, call upon him to protect you. Gadiel will also help you release any negative feelings you have after a disagreement with a friend, an unfavorable assessment from a boss or an argument with a lover.
This is the angel Gadiel who will help you:
Maintain a positive outlook
Repair a damaged relationship
Improve your job performance
Transform your life
Release limiting beliefs
Create abundance
Invocation
One way to call upon Gadiel is to go outside when the wind is blowing and invite the wind to carry your prayers to him. His name has great power, so saying Gadiel repeatedly while you ask for his assistance is also a wonderful way to invite him closer.
Another way to call him is to close your eyes and imagine that your request is tied to a beautiful balloon. Take a few deep breaths and when the time feels right imagine letting go of the balloon. Know that Gadiel will always answer your prayers.

The Angel Gazardiel
I was doing a radio interview yesterday and the interviewer mentioned that Gazardiel was her favorite angel. Today a friend e mailed me about finding a new job so I emailed him to her. So when I thought about a post today I realized this was Gazardiel’s day. So here he is.
Call upon Gazardiel to help you with:
New beginnings
Deepening your understanding of an issue
Releasing an addiction
Finding a new love
Creating the perfect home
Getting that a pay raise
Launching a new career
Gazardiel is the angel of the east and is often called “the illuminated one.” In some Jewish legends he is responsible for the rising and setting of the sun. He embodies innocence, renewal and enlightenment. Gazardiel brings illumination and new beginnings to anyone who asks. He often announces his presence with a shaft of beautiful light. The colors most often associated with Gazardiel are those of a fabulous sunrise: buttery yellow, orange, various hues of pink and purple. When you call upon Gazardiel your prayers will be carried directly to God.
I am sure you don’t doubt that the sun will rise tomorrow. You can be equally sure of Gazardiel’s help.
Invocation:
The ideal place to invoke Gazardiel is where you can clearly see the sunrise. Face the sun and as the first rays of light strike your face ask for his assistance. If you can’t see the sun then just face toward the east. Then clearly state your problem and ask for Gazardiel to illuminate your way. His support is always gentle and loving yet very powerful. The clarity he imparts is amazing.

Trusting the process
Aloha everyone,
I have found working with angels a very interesting process. I am used to doing things myself and looking at my filter system and processing and . . .
Working with angels is definitely a horse of a different color. Working with celestial beings is more about surrendering, being vulnerable, asking for help, paying attention to your inner guidance and then taking action.
Today I got a wonderful e mail from a woman who had just gotten received a copy of my book. She thanked me for the love she felt emanating from it. She went on to say that she had a problem and had no idea what to do, so she wrote a letter, put it in the book and then went to sleep. In the morning she intuitively knew what to do.
To me that is a wonderful example of how to work with angels. My problem has always been trusting that the process will work and it always does, without fail.
So, if something has been bothering you or is a challenge in your life write about it, put it someplace sacred and let go. Ask for help and know it will be there. You already have a large non-physical staff just waiting for you to ask for help.

Susan

Angels are everywhere
This is week two with the baby chicks. They already have little miniature wing feathers and cute little tails. I just had to share another picture of these little angels in chicken bodies.
Lately I have been very moved by nature and life’s magic. I just replanted the garden I had built for my dad and love watching the seeds sprout. Mahealani, my good friend and Hawaiian kumu (teacher) told me a long time ago that angels often do for us what we can’t do for ourselves. I really got to see that in action this week.
My father has Alzheimer’s and is fiercely independent. He needs to be looked after but he likes living alone. After his wife died I tried having him live with me here in Hawaii but he hated not being in total control. When I wouldn’t let him drive he left, telling everyone I had kept him prisoner and stolen all his money.
The other day he had another car accident. I scrambled to find an assisted living place and wasn’t looking forward to being the bad guy once again. Much to my surprise his step daughters had stepped in and were moving him to Vermont. After some initial upset, since they don’t talk to me, I was incredibly relieved. Hopefully, he will be well cared for and I won’t have to travel 6000 miles to set up his care. Since it is his choice to move back to Vermont I am off the hook so to speak. It really feels like the angels did for me what I couldn’t do for myself!
I could look at the whole thing from the perspective of being cut out of my dad’s life or from the expansive perspective of my spirit. How I feel is not dependent on what he or his step daughters do or don’t do, it is dependent on how I choose to see what is. When he had the accident and I wasn’t sure what to do I asked for help and opened a copy of my angel book. The book opened to the entry on Solomon.
Solomon will help you:
Connect with your divine wisdom
Balance all areas of your world
Invite success and abundance into your life
Heal your emotional body
Release the past
How appropriate!
So in my heart of hearts I wish my dad and his step daughters well. I will write to him often and call him if I can. What a gift for the both of us. He has a place to live and I don’t have to be the mean child that took away his drivers licence.

Susan

Angels in little chicken’s bodies
Yesterday I got 24 three day old baby chicks. They are little balls of fluffy down that peep a lot. They are so cute. As I sat watching them I thought of all those sparks of spirit animating their little bodies. Angels having the incredible opportunity to have a physical experience inside a chickens body.
As I sat quietly watching the chicks I could understand St. Joseph and his flights of ecstasy. When I was writing about him for The Encyclopedia of Angels, Spirit Guides and Ascended Masters I really enjoyed getting to know St. Joseph. Almost any type of spiritual experience would trigger St. Joseph’s religious ecstasy and his ability to levitate. He would fly high over the heads of other people and float for long periods of time over the altar.
While I was writing about him I had an amusing thought. I imagined of the brothers praying and meditating in the chapel at 4 o’clock in the morning. They were cold and tired when Joseph goes floating by. One brother would look up and say, “There goes Joseph. Hope the candles aren’t too high.” The Saints were amazing people. I learned so much from them about what is possible in my own life.
As I watched the baby chicks flutter and flit about I thought of Joseph. I was amazed by the miracle of life. A few days before these little fluffy chicks were inside an egg, they had to fight their way out, they were put in a box and flown all the way to Hawaii. And now 24 of them are starting their lives as my companions. They will have a pretty good life here on Green Acres.
Within a day they have already grown small feathers on their wing tips and on their tails. The universe is so amazing and so absolutely perfect. Of course Boots the cat thinks I got them just for her. I keep reminding her they are the same birds that chase her when she is out in the yard. I am not too sure if that is helping.
My dog Ginger thinks it is her job to take care of the chickens and she takes her job very seriously. If the hens out in the yard make unusual noise she immediately bolts for the door. Now she is on chick duty and I think she loves it!
The baby chicks and the saints reminded me that miracles are possible. When we live life from a place of a profound and active connection to the divine anything is possible. Saints are merely people who lived their lives from that place of connection. They were no different from you or I. They just focused the majority of their attention on their love of God however they defined that being.
May your day be full of magic and miracles,
Susan
