Limitless Possibilities

Great ideas come into the world quietly as doves. Perhaps then, if we listen attentively, we shall hear among the uproar of empires and nations a faint fluttering of wings, the gentle stirrings of life and hope.

Life is full of endless possibilities. All of our limitations arise from the gray matter right between our ears. As we change our thinking our lives change. Reaching out and connecting with angels and other beings of light certainly makes change so much easier.

There are so many ways to connect with celestial beings. One of the first steps is the simple act of asking for help, then allow for the possibility that help is available and then actually accepting and following the suggestions that will be freely given. The voice of spirit is always quiet, gentle and loving. In the hustle and bustle of life we often fail to hear it.

Take the time each day to get quiet and listen to the gentle stirrings of your spirit. Magic will happen if you do.

With love and aloha,
Susan

Getting quiet is always the hard part for me. And I know I need to, and I know the magic is without and within - how to reach it?

I am actually putting together two classes to help people do just that. The easiest way I know of to reach that quiet place within is to use my breath. Just focus my attention on my breath and when my mind wanders once again focus my attention on my breath. It really helps!

A somewhat humorous example of what happens when we fail to listen to the Spirit speaking to us. I was driving my bus on my last run of the day when I spotted a painted turtle upside down beside the road. With a bus full of passengers, I could not stop to right him. But, about half an hour later, on my way home from work, I distinctly heard the Spirit telling me to go rescue that turtle. I passed the first road where it would have been easy enough to shoot on over and turn the turtle right side up. As I approached another road that would also lead over there fairly easily, I heard it again, “It’s not too late to go help that turtle.” I ignored that voice and drove on by. Not far down the road was yet another turn off that I could still take and not have to go very far out of my way at all to assist that turtle. I drove by this as well, thinking to myself, “I don’t have time!” As I drove by, the Spirit spoke again, “Turn back! Turn back!”
Now, there were no more roads to turn off that would lead me to turtle. I continued on my way and glanced in my rear view mirror. There was a State Trooper behind me. Where had he come from?! His lights came on and I pulled over to let him pass, but instead he pulled in behind me. As he walked up to my car, I could hear the Spirit again, “I told you to go rescue that turtle!” And I knew that if I had done as I was told, I would not now be sitting here waiting for a State Trooper to write me out a ticket.

That is how and why I learned to listen because every time I didn’t I wasn’t happy with the outcome. Thanks for sharing that story with us Cindy. Hope the ticket wasn’t too much and someone righted the turtle!
